Umbrian Honey, from Marsciano (PG)
In its liquid state, the color varies from bright reddish amber to a more or less opaque dark amber. This honey has a very intense, pungent, and phenolic aroma and a flavor that is not overly sweet with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Its nature makes it ideal when consumed with aged sheep’s milk cheeses (strong flavor), chocolate, and dry sweets. Crystallization is slow.
